Give It Back
DEMANDING GOVERNMENT PAYS BACK £434M OWED IN CHILD SOCIAL CARE
We were approached by the Disabled Children’s Partnership, an umbrella organisation of 60 leading children’s charities, who wanted to improve the lives of children with disabilities. We pinpointed the need for £434m in social care. We entitled the campaign Give It Back. We approached The Sun and Sun Online to be our media partners. We wrote, cast and produced the hard-hitting video that gives voice to parents’ frustration and their deep love of their disabled children. We sourced case studies and placed families in the media, understanding our duty of care. We gained national TV news, print, and radio news coverage. We provided shorts for continued social media coverage for the 60 partner charities. The film has been viewed 170,000 times. Nearly 20,000 people signed a letter demanding the Treasury provides more funding for social care.
