Jamie’s Farm

“Bringing the media into Jamie’s Farm to tell stories of success, as the charity transforms the lives of young people struggling with attendance, behaviour, low confidence and low self esteem at school.”

Cause has been privileged to work with education and farming charity, Jamie’s Farm, since 2023, telling the story of its unique programme of residential stays which are helping to transform the lives of vulnerable young people from all over England and Wales.

Through a sustained programme of media relations we’ve raised the profile of the charity’s dynamic mother and son founders, Tish and Jamie Feilden, helping to position them as experts in improving the lives of children and young people who are struggling at school and in the restorative power of the countryside and purposeful work.

Debut coverage included an in-depth feature in The Times -  resulting in a £20,000 reader donation - plus a three-page interview with Tish in Good Housekeeping with further coverage of the charity’s mission appearing in the Yorkshire Post’s weekend magazine and broadcast hits with BBC 5 Live, CBBC’s Newsround, SKY FYI and BBC Look North.

Our work to make a star of farm therapy dog, Bella, also resulted in news items on the BBC News homepage, ITV West and a BBC community award nomination.

Online PR efforts have been focused on generating coverage on high domain authority sites such as the Guardian, The Times online, BBC News online, The Sun online and Metro online, which help to boost the charity’s online visibility, credibility and reputation.

In July 2025 we helped shape the launch of Jamie’s Farm’s seventh site at Shockerwick, opened by HRH Queen Camilla which naturally attracted widespread press attention, firmly placing the charity on the national stage.

And as the Jamie’s Farm brand grows, we’ve also supported the launch of its new podcast - Shift Happens - which shares powerful stories of change from young people who’ve stayed on one of Jamie’s Farms, as well as securing high-profile guest spots for co-founder Tish Feilden on leading parenting podcasts including Teenagers Untangled and How Not To Screw Up Your Kids.

Extending the charity’s reach to new audiences, we’ve also devised a stand-alone regional PR programme for the launch of its Farmer’s Cabins, located at Jamie’s Farm Monmouth which has resulted in widespread local and regional media attention.

“Cause have made the effort to understand what we do at Jamie's Farm and find opportunities in radio, print, digital and TV for us to tell our story and share our impact. We have seen a huge boost in our PR, with tangible benefits felt right across the organisation. We feel we are in such safe hands working in partnership together - they are the perfect extension to our team, always quick to respond to communications and with an exceptional knowledge of the PR world.”
