One Home

“Putting the spotlight on devastated communities whose lives have been impacted by living close to crumbling cliff edges. Sharing vital information on how people can adapt to the existing impacts of climate change.”

One Home founder, Angela Terry - passionate about providing clear, impartial advice that empowers UK citizens to help tackle climate change - turned to Cause for help in spreading the charity’s message through the media.

We devised compelling data-driven campaigns around pertinent consumer issues such as coastal erosion, the adoption of electric cars and uptake of Government insulation and flood resilience schemes to generate headline-grabbing stories which resulted in coverage in The Telegraph, Daily Express, Daily Record, Daily Mirror, Metro, The Guardian, BBC News and Sky News

We also monitored the news agenda, leveraging Angela’s expertise to place her as a spokesperson around issues such as food waste, flood risks, wind farms, heat pumps and other environmental hot topics. In recent months she has appeared on LBC with Nick Ferrari, Sky News’ Climate Show, BBC 5 Live, Talk TV and BBC 1’s Rip Off Britain - and is now the go-to environmental expert for radio and TV producers across the UK and beyond.

Using our senior level editorial contacts we secured Angela her very own weekly column with publisher National World - Going Green - which is syndicated across 55 regional websites and 30 print titles meaning the One Home brand reaches one million readers every week.

In 2024, Angela and One Home featured in over 1,500 pieces of media coverage. Coverage in high-reach, high-authority outlets has established Angela as a trusted source of climate expertise in the UK, boosted credibility, driven brand awareness, and inspired practical action among millions of UK consumers.

“Thanks to the expertise of the Cause team, One Home is featured in national media several times a month. Sam’s expertise has helped us to really understand One Home’s audience, refine our key messages, develop creative ideas regularly and hit big with press and broadcast coverage. Cause secured One Home a weekly column, Going Green, which features in National World’s regional and local titles, meaning the charity’s brand and messaging reaches at least 1.4 million people every single week. Cause’s contacts are fantastic - there is no one more committed in UK media to supporting our mission than Sam Carlisle.”
